Joe Tandy—President, System Integration, Installation and Programming.

Joe founded J. Tandy Designs in 2000 after working at several other audiovisual companies for many years. “I just wasn’t happy with the service these companies were providing their clients. I want to be more involved with projects and be sure we’re meeting all the needs of our clients.” Joe is a proficient Crestron programmer and has attended the Extron School of Audiovisual Technologies. He is a certified videoconferencing specialist, and has completed many hours of advanced training in audiovisual design and installation. Joe specializes in audiovisual systems for homes and offices with extensive knowledge of home theatre, multi-room audio systems, and complete system integration.

Robert Myers—Vice President, Design and Engineering

Bob partnered with Joe in the company in the fall of 2005 after 17 years at the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. He served as the Coordinator of Audiovisual Resources for the College and oversaw the design of all the AV systems in classrooms, conference rooms and labs. Bob graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Biomedical Photography, and Ashland University with a degree in marketing and telecommunications. He has been involved in photography and audiovisual resources since high school. He is also a certified videoconferencing specialist. Bob specializes in audiovisual solutions for business and education, including classrooms, meeting rooms, board rooms, and distance learning labs. “My goal is to design systems that meet the need of our clients. I try to listen to their concerns, and find innovative solutions to address those concerns.”
